Target? For Real?

See what i see? At some point the disrespect gonna have to stop. It seems superchain Target has been selling a greeting card that not only names the late star Whitney Houston but also refers to ex hubby Bobby Brown...Recent uproar has led Target to pull the card from all remaining stores. Go figga?

This is too much!!! The National Enquirer has went way too far...Woke up to the newsflash the enquirer has published pics of the late star Whitney Houston. Disrespectful to say the least, I'm now wondering why all her fans aint calling for a boycott of the so-called newspaper yet?

We Wish You Peace Love And Soul !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 1936-2012

Chicago and the world has lost a great entertainment pioneer, Don Cornelius....I just can't imagine someone who wasn't glued to the T.V. in the 70's,80's and 90's on a Saturday morning...I know I most definitely did...along with everyone else in my family. Coming straight out of Du Sable high school, the Bronzeville native moved on to the Marine Corps and serving in the Korea War. Don was working as a journalist and a Chicago DJ in 1970. He started the "Soul Train", first as a radio segment and starting in 1971 moved it to L.A. to become the longest first- run syndicated show in history. For 35 years, Soul Train and Don Cornelius as its conductor influenced music, dance and t.v.  It became the major vessel for black music during its reign. The "Train" brought the music and the artist directly to our living room. Teaching the world to dance from 1971 to 1993, and spotlighting  the best in soul music, the Soul Train creator captivated our eyes and ears with his smooth baritone voice...He will be greatly missed!!!!! People, I leave you with the signature catchphrase of a giant...We Wish You Peace Love And Soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
